Daily journal July 2,2000, A beautiful day worth living and painting with a Bible brush .

With delicious South Carolina golden yellow peaches for breakfast, I rejoice.

I am happy to praise the Lord for all he has created and provided us with today and yesterday, tomorrow also. I am painting 3 new pictures for the Hambidge Center show July 15th. and these are very special to paint my vision of the saints of God all in white robes ascending as though it were to Heaven. Actually, the vision I see of these paintings I cannot produce on canvas because I am not an artist, I can only paint what God helps me to paint and no more. We are only what God allows us to be in life and we only live so long as God allows us to live as He puts some breath in our body. God created us and breathed into us his breath of life. All breath belongs to God so let us praise Him for it.

There's so much to write about and it is coming to me so fast, one page a day is enough.

A message Channel 4 TV from Charles Stanley this morning is the best I have heard from a Baptist preacher speaking about the condition of our times. He made 3 points about humanism, materialism and deism that are very timely. " We reap what we sow and we have sown personally and nationally " most preachers today preach only what people want to hear and not feel condemned over. Today people substitute church membership for membership in Heaven having one's name being written in the Lambs book of life. There are always exceptions but for the most part Baptist preachers do not even preach against smoking cigarettes. Even our Liberal government preaches against smoking cigarettes warning people that it is dangerous and death to smoke. Some truth even comes out of the government even though most things are slanted. Charles Stanley does not preach against the Lodge as for as I know but he was right to target evildoers in his message today against abortion, perversion, porno and others. I am glad to see and hear it.

Dear Lord give us will power to avoid foods that are not healthy that tire and age us.

The five whites we should Avoid in our diets are white sugar, white flour, fat, milk and table salt. I have added one as being white rice. Refer to my Journal dated April 25th. We must began with discipline and faith trusting in God first and then we will have a life without sugar or hydrogenated oil's which for the most part translate into fried foods.

The Sabbath day should be a Saturday or Sunday we should observe to rest and obey one of the 10 Commandments of the Old Testament. If we have not yet made a living in six days we're not likely to make it in seven days. obey God and all his commandments and all of life will be easier. It is recorded in the New Testament that the disciples of Christ observed the first day of the week being Sunday because Christ arose on that day. Who can understand without the knowledge of God and the inspired wisdom of the Almighty.

Today Mexico votes on a new ruling party and President from the long time corrupt government that has kept them in poverty for so long. The news media say that this election is promised to be fair and honest with Jimmy Carter present but others say no way will the election not be stuffed with enough ballots to win for the party in power. When we mistreat the Mexican people as we do along the border, we can expect a retaliation as has been reported in recent weeks. Let us respect all people of the world .

This journal is created via IBM's Via Voice. Some of my journals have appeared on the website unedited and for that I apologize. In some of them I cannot read and understand but it is better than trying to read my handwriting especially after it gets cold. I will now attempt to correct all journals promptly before filing them in the future. With Via Voice the computer often adds to what you say. I feel led to write and to paint the message.
